I purchased this cable to allow me to have a cable at home and another at work for an Apple Watch Series 8. The cable that comes with the watch charges in under 90 minutes. This cable (with the exact same charging brick) is 2-3 hours. That is about the same I am getting with the older watch chargers (with USB A, etc.).

The charging cable works, but it charges quite a bit slower than the Apple regular usb cable, and the magnet is much weaker. I’d recommend buying the Apple cable instead.

The media could not be loaded. The first night we used this to charge my Apple Watch it actually MELTED and BURNED! In the morning, as I took the watch off this charger it burnt my hand which hurt for several hours! My watch was HOT for several hours and the device was hot for up to 12 hours! This could of been such a disaster! Do not buy – it is dangerous! I am so thankful that nothing happened! DO NOT BUY!

Bought this charger 6 weeks ago and it does charge my Watch SE (slowly) but the watch gets very hot and after 6 weeks it has basically stopped charging at all. Just pay up for the Apple charger.

The charger simply doesn’t charge and Apple Watch 8. I t connects and the Watch goes into charging mode, but the battery level doesn’t increase. I gave up trying after 30 minutes of charge with no change.
