Does not have a leather smell to it. The tag says Real leather LINING 100% polyester, so I have a feeling there maybe some of what is known as PU leather in this too.The fact they put Genuine leather lets you know sure there is some leather in it but its not the best. As said else where Genuine leather doesn’t just mean that the product is made of real leather (which it is), but it also means it is the lowest quality of all products made out of real leather. Basically, you should read it as: “At least it’s genuine leather.”Genuine leather generally doesn’t last as long or look as nice as higher-quality leather. You’ll typically find it in belts from mall stores, shoes from lower-priced department stores, and bags or other goods in the lower price range.Goods marked as genuine leather will be several layers of low-quality leather bonded together with glue and then painted to look uniform. It’s made from what is left over when the other, higher grades are stripped away for pricier projects.The thread used is thin so I can see it easily cutting and coming undone with the most minor of wear. It does have a nice weight to it. Thre are 6 pockets. 2 Outside that zip, 2 hand pockets, and 2 inside. One of which is what I would assume is the conceal carry pocket.As the headline states it is a nice entry vest. I will not feel bad if it gets roughed up. However I am going to use it as a template to make myself another vest out of higher quality leather. This one will be my everyday going out vest and my other will be the one I will wear to impress.

I bought this vest one size larger than normal because I like roominess. My normal is an XL but I didn’twant to take a chance that it would be too tight. Worked out well. Very happy. Nice vest.

The best is great, it’s you can clean the mold off it. Looks like it sat too long in the warehouse, or sold it under value due to mold. Whatever they are storing it needs to be reviewed.
