Purchased for my motorcycle to do a complete clutch and brake flush. It is exactly as it states, DOT 4 Synthetic Brake fluid. It doesn’t do any magic tricks, but it works.

I was actually able to notice a difference in this fluid vs DOT 3. This fluid resists heat better. It stays more springy where DOT 3 feels like it collapses more under heat and load.I like the prolonged service life as well. So far it feels like it will be able to maintain its life through the stated mileage. If you’re wondering if it is worth the added cost I would say absolutely.I had new bottles of DOT 3 and don’t regret buying and using this DOT 4 fluid instead.

I drained & flushed my 2000 GMC Jimmy DOT 3 brake fluid and replaced with this synthetic DOT 4. Based on the color longevity, this DOT 4 does not turn black with time based observation. I guess it’s a good thing.

I encountered a blinking beeping handbrake light on my 2008 Audi A4. It was my very first experience of such issue. Did some research and the culprit could be my brake fluid being low, so I went for a check and noticed that the fluid reservoir has gone down below the ‘low’ indicator mark. Checked my manual for specifications and the Prestone DOT-4 came right on the dot. Bought a small bottle, topped it off just enough and voila – light gone! Highly recommend it.
