Overall the product is a good bag and great wide open area to fill water and put in ice but the pack space is very limited compared to my old bass pro XPS brand that was a quarter of the cost. Would not purchase another one of these. Find a different one with more room unless you are looking for a somewhat compact hydration pack. Filling with water is also a pain due to the handle attached to the hydration part. Over not impressed at all for one of the more expensive brand.

Although it can carry lots of water, the design makes it unnecessary heavy (when empty) with lots of pockets / compartments that are not appropriate for the use of a camelback. The main goal is to carry as much water the most effective way possible, not to carry your whole house. It’s been designed more like a backpack rather than a camelback.

I got this pack for mountain biking. Great hydration pack but the fill-up is problematic. Bladder compartment doesn’t unzip all the way so its awkward to refill unless you remove the bladder completely. My other packs are easy to access and can simply fill at the fridge. This one is a bit of an ordeal. Also the cap holder doesn’t stay on the cap. It comes off constantly. Its frustrating. The pack itself is great for a few hrs ride. Plenty of water and space for tools, spares and snacks. Shoulder straps are a little small for me tho. Can be a little uncomfortable at times when the pack is at full weight. Doesn’t get too hot while wearing so the ventilation is good. Great pack for the $, would recommend.

I love camelbak. Had one that lasted 20 years. When that one finally frayed to the point of no return I got this one.I think they over complicated the bladder. The hose release (not on the old version) can get pushed in while in the pack. You know where I’m going with this…..The trick seems to be to have nothing at all in the pack, load the bladder first then carefully add whatever else you’re carrying. For those of us who carry the same stuff everyday, that’s a pain.Straps are a little thin and not padded which makes it less comfortable than my old one especially with the 3L of water weight. There is some sort of stiff backing that makes it sort of clunky to load the bladder. I’m hoping it works itself out with time.

The bag itself is nice and has plenty of pockets which is what I needed it. So the first time I’m gonna use use it, I open the thing to put water, but it seems like the water bag is missing the gasket because water spills everywhere when I close it. So I guess I’m gonna have to get another one of those water bags -_- other than that it’s okay.

We got this for our trip to Disneyland. We were tired of carrying around the 40 oz hydros. This holds quite a bit of water. Lots of pockets and room to hold snacks or an extra shirt if needed. Pockets for your ID and debit card. My only complaint was when we put it down, it fell over and leaked all over and the backpack was soaked. Not leak proof

Delivery and pricing were good. This is the 5th CamelBak in our household (have one that is over 24 years old and still being used). Nicely designed and thought out. Use it for quick hikes or bike trips through the Fort Collins trails. Carries almost too much water in the bladder if filled completely. If not, has room for snacks, light jacket or windbreaker (or light down coat), plus a few extras.Only concern is whether the plastic taste of the bladder will fade with time – guessing it will go away (we are meticulous about keeping the bladders clean – wash and dry after use/store in freezer).

It’s easy to carry the straps helps keep it in place while riding. water compartment is great and leaves enough space to carry other items such as tools, food etc. The helmet hook work great doesn’t move around either.
