   This chlorinated brake cleaner is da bomb, it cleans off gunk, grease, crud, and corruption faster than a bucket of water will melt the Wicked Witch of the West. It works better and faster than its cousin, NON-chlorinated brake cleaner (also produced by CRC, at a higher price). Other good things are that (unlike the non-chlor. variety) it dries almost instantaneously and is non-flammable, so it can be used on hot engines. That’s the good stuff.The bad: (a) it will damage some kinds of plastic (but that’s a trifling matter compared to the other issue); (b) it can kill you if you’re not careful. You need to use it outdoors with a good breeze blowing, or in a shop with absolutely great ventilation. Because it’s full of chemical compounds that will either kill you or cause nasty health issues down the road…and not very far down the road, either. Not a joke, you really do need to be careful with this stuff. So OK, once you know that, you take precautions, and try to stay as safe as possible. One problem. THIS PRODUCT ISN’T LABELED AS CHLORINATED BRAKE CLEANER ANYWHERE IN THE LISTING, unless you go to the “Technical Details”, where it shows the “model” is “Chlorintated (sic) brake parts cleaner”.Yeah, if you read the (teeny-tiny) print on the back of the can, it describes the health issues fully. But it’s my firm belief that the Amazon listing should clearly state, in bold letters, “CAUTION – CHLORINATED BRAKE CLEANER”, or words to that effect.I still use this in preference to it’s safer cousin. It works better and faster, it dries in an instant, and it’s not flammable. But anyone using this stuff should be warned about its dangers. So I subtracted one star.

   Great cleaner, good price but mine did not come with the spray straw. I don’t have any old ones so makes a mess and uses too much. I would think they would know how important it is to include this straw as it is pictured so it should be included. Hesitant to order again. I think I would be better off just purchasing local to be sure I had what I needed to do the job right.

   I do a lot of mountain biking and my brakes squeal and make irritating noises when the rotors get too dirty. I saw someone on youtube use the Brakleen on their rotors and so I decided to get some for mine. Works like a champ. I’ll be buying going forward. I’ve been using Brakleen for about 3 months so far so which is about 25 rides and I clean my rotors before each ride. Takes a couple of minutes and its just me and mother nature no more brake squeal.

   This is needed to clean the area of the cars engine where the sealant is going to be used. Sealing a engine leak from the outside of the engine is great! No parts stores even heard of this sealer.I purchased before this.

   I use this stuff on anything that needs a powerful cleaning. I’ve used this to get stains out of garage floors, clean the sticky residue labels leave behind, and of course, on brakes. Brakleen is awesome but just make sure you use it in a well ventilated area, although if you’ve used this stuff long enough, you have likely experienced what happens if you don’t. The SDS claims narcotic-like effects and some from other country’s SDS site “Drunken-like effects”. It’s not pleasant, and it’s probably pretty bad for you so, avoid inhaling this stuff. All that being said, if you’re smart about using it, it’s a great tool to use in the garage or anywhere that other products aren’t quite cutting it. Be careful using it around anything painted because it can strip certain paints as well.

   Used it on my vehicle braking system and it removed a lot of dirt and grime . I am pleased with its performance.
