Mechanical experience helps in assembly, built kinda cheap but what do you expect for 400 bucks. Runs good. Make sure you have the back wheel straight when you tighten the chain. Make sure the child understands how to use the break and throttle

Obtained for my son – as the electric bike he has was good but couldn’t keep up with his friend’s gas bike just like this one. First problem – was the oil already in the bike – leaked in the packaging. Ok, I can clean it and replace. Second & Third problem – the motor is louder that the local landscapers industrial units and it automatically shuts off within 1 hour of use. I’ve been told that it’s an internal problem on the motor as my son’s friend bike is not 1/2 as loud as this unit. And the 1 hour shutoff time ? I use that on my kids internet to proactively get him away from video games – does the manufacturer not want my son to use the bike for over an hour time ? That should be my decision. Fourth problem, the throttle assembly on the right side has already detached from the unit – while my son was riding it ! Causing the engine to “race” – guess I understand why there’s a kill switch. Was hoping I didn’t have to have my son to use it – as he “raced” past me while his initial run. Yes, his initial run. I ordered July 13 and received last Thursday. It hasn’t been a solid week – and here I am describing 4 BIG problems. And of course the messaging assistant reminds me “non-returnable” or ability to swap if defective. A nice paper weight sitting in my garage. Thank you. I got this as an alternative to a new XBOX / PS5 for my son to have hours of enjoyment – especially with his friends during the summer – yet here I am – staring at a defective product with roadblocks in place on Amazon and no solution. Thank you.

The media could not be loaded. Bike was bought 1 year ago. My 9yo used it first, now it’s my 6yo.We haven’t changed anything on it, but I make sure we run the engine every now and then. It was heavily used in the beginning, riding it on dirt and rock, I realized the bike isn’t much built for rocky surface, dirt or grass is fine.My son now only uses it as a ride to go to the park. Overall it’s been a great purchase and my kids love it!

Assembly of the bike was pretty easy. I used the tools it came with, even though using my own would have been easier just to see if it was possible. I read reviews that said the front fender breaks off and I can see why this would be true. The fender catches on the engine guard at full lock of turn. I removed the fender and trimmed it on a belt sander (could use scissors but wouldn’t look as nice and have some sharp edges) to prevent it from rubbing. There’s lots of suspension travel and it cranks easy. I recommend running only ethanol free gas in any small engine and when it goes for long periods of disuse. Drain the fuel and then let it run until the carburetor is dry. Can just flip the bike over and dump it from the fuel tank, just allow it to sit upright for a while before cranking. The chain issues reported also seem to be non-event. If you are competent enough to adjust the chain then you will have no problems. The instructions do not say to do it but anyone with a few brain cells can determine it is too loose. The kill switch wiring has very minimal weather protection and can dangle too low, put electrical tape on the connections and then zip tie the slack to the frame so your young one does not have any issues. Bike runs good and I’m sure it will for a long time if you do annual oil changes (which it takes a little more than they say) and run good gas in it. Overall a great bike for 300+ shipping

The media could not be loaded. So far we haven’t had any issues, it’s been a perfect bike for our 5 year old to learn how to ride and get a feel for it without spending double or triple what we spent on this one. He hopped on and had it down in no time!It was his birthday gift, has been riding it nonstop for about 2 weeks now and it has handled all his riding just fine. Perfect size for him as well.

When it works, it’s great but the chain falls off constantly, tank is cracking, and is usually more work than it’s worth. Would advice to save up and buy a name brand one if possible.
