   I previously had D1S – Osram Xenarc 66140CBI (Cool Blue Intense) HID Bulbs in my 2005 Porsche Cayenne Turbo, they replaced the original Osram standard HID bulbs which lasted this long. After 2 year, 1 of the cool blue bulbs started flickering, and is turning purplish in color. Not gonna spend that type of money again for those bulbs to last 2 years, so started looked at LED in hopes of longer life.These are great because they are direct fit, not extra wires, etc. its all contained in the base of the bulb, cooling fan included.Brightness wise, they are equivalent to the Osram CBI bulbs, with one exception. Its small, but since the LED is on a solid plastic arm to located it out into the housing off of the base, and not all glass like the HID bulb, there is a small dead zone (black area) in the beam pattern, that runs top to bottom. Is very minimal however, and most wont even notice it, nature of the beast with an LED suspended on a solid plastic post.Beam cut off is also the same, as is lighting distance.Color is much better. The Osram CBI’s where a bit yellow still to me, these are definitely pure white, maybe a touch of blue, but I like the color much better, I feel closer to true 6000k.Build quality is good. Everything was tight, solid, and finished well.There is minimal noise from the cooling fans, you have to put your ear up to the light to hear them.As for life, Ive had them only a month, so time will tell. This is the biggest reason to switching to these over HID bulbs for me, so I will report back. The included 2 year warranty however is great piece of mind.

   2010 Camaro SS with the RS package. A couple of years with the factory HID bulbs heat cycles cause warping / corrosion / detachment of the metal coating on the plastic reflector housing right where the bulb sits, behind the projector lens leading to a splotchy beam pattern. Both headlight assemblies need replacement.Aftermarket factory fit headlights from TYC are around $400 each and $200 for couple of hours labor. Repeat every few years.I’m estimating it’s about 5000 hours or about the life of two HID bulbs.Or, you could just replace the HIDS with these LEDs ASAP, and postpone the headlight replacement for a number of years. I noticed that the headlight housing does not get as hot as it did with the HID bulb.Longevity is unknown. I think it’s worth it if you replace these every year or every other year instead of having to replace both headlight assemblies every few years.Btw, they’re significantly brighter in terms of how much light they put out. I think double the brightness of a brand new Osram zenarcs. The color temp is probably 5500k cool white without any blue to it.The beam pattern is identical and the cutouts are crisp just like with the HIDs.I didn’t need to adjust the alignment.Nobody’s going to know. Oncoming traffic won’t be blinded.In my case the driver’s side was easy as there was nothing in the way. The passenger side was difficult. I had to unclip a wiring harness and contort my body to reach in there and do everything by feel.

   I have only had these LED replacement bulbs in for a week, but I noticed a brightness difference right away! They were extremely easy to install, once I found a YouTube video to learn how to do it! kudos to BMW for the easy design for changing these headlight bulbs. It took me all of 20 minutes to replace them. Kudos to Sinoparcel for creating a replacement product that closely resembles the OEM part! It’s literally a plug and play design! Would definitely buy again.

   No complaints really. Love the brightness and the spread of the beams. Very easy to install on my 16’ 435i and the car didn’t throw any codes. It’s deer season and my factory bulbs were too dim to catch deer on the side of the road lol, these help a lot. The color temp looks way better too.

   It’s a replacement bulb and cheaper than BMW. I only gave it 1 star for installation because BMW makes it difficult. Otherwise, the bulb seems to be good quality. As far as longevity, I gave it 3 stars because I don’t know yet.
