Lolly Lou –
Like almost every bad review, I received these and went “THESE ARE TOO BIG!” – Then I looked at the packaging. These are designed for TWO different types of the kids Eddy bottles – Insulated and the regular plastic – Which I assume most people have. IF you have those, you have to TRIM the straw to fit properly – Otherwise, they ARE too big and fit in the bottle at an angle. Yes, the bite valves aren’t the most durable bite valves. I’ve replaced two at least twice in the last year. But replacements are available for a reason and they fit (if you pay attention to details) and are great!

Luv items you can take apart or remove to clean thoroughly.

Do not fit the bottle well. The straw is smaller and too long

Replacement was good but almost could’ve bought a new one for price of bite valves.

doesn’t fit this one. Straw is too long.https://www.amazon.com/CamelBak-Water-Bottle-Tritan-Renew/dp/B08PG2SYT1/ref=pd_ybh_a_sccl_10/139-2394754-3113558?pd_rd_w=nC9Ra&content-id=amzn1.sym.8e5a2e6a-2480-42b2-b29b-9d31f472f1fb&pf_rd_p=8e5a2e6a-2480-42b2-b29b-9d31f472f1fb&pf_rd_r=FK4M710AAAFYMN7MJGW4&pd_rd_wg=S7ypf&pd_rd_r=237e5814-9e48-4578-b84c-465877fed56f&pd_rd_i=B08PG2SYT1&psc=1

Perfect diameter for child’s Camelbak thermos requiring a smaller/narrower straw, although perhaps a bit too long. Could be cut & sanded.

My first child had the same bite valve on her water bottle for years. Her younger sibling inherited the bottle and she is a chewer. She has destroyed all the straws on our plastic cups and has also gone through two water bottle tops, this one included. I hate that the silicone will basically never break down in the landfill, but the old bite valve was crumbling apart around the split at the top and leaked. I decided to buy the replacement valve instead of a whole new bottle because the bottle is still in perfect shape. The review asked about ease of cleaning. You’ll need a straw cleaning brush. I find mildew can build up in the center of the bite valve and would be impossible to get out without a tiny brush. Is it hard to clean? No. But needing a specialized tool to clean it is kind of annoying and detracts from the ease.

I liked the fact that it fit my son’s Camelbak water bottle & my son is a biter so I dislike the fact that he can chew through the bite valve
