I was in the helmet industry for years, traveling to Korea/China/Vietnam etc. for helmet manufacturing. This helmet like most every other helmet in the industry under $500 bucks is junk but works as well as the next. It has crowded upper cheek areas is the only complaint so the goggles as a result as shoved up a bit and sit too high. My kid puts up with it. As for safety, again it’s laughable how bad helmet safety is today with all the technology. Here’s the bottom line, so long as nobody complains and consumers agree to Styrofoam as the best technology on earth, we’ll never get anything better. Lawyers keep things unchanged and the other gimmick stuff like MIPS and such is …a barely measurable improvement. SNELL ratings are mostly a joke, sometimes doing more harm than good and DOT is even worse. ECE is probably the best testing standard and it’s nothing to write home about. I’ve ran this testing equipment myself and was shocked at how poor it is as a standard.

Bought 3 of these for my 9, 6 and 4 year old. Different sizes and styles. The finish is great, they look and feel great, the fit is true to size for what they recommend. The gloves are kinda meh, but nice I guess. As others noted, and the reason for -1 star is the visor screws. I had to retighten them all and will see if they vibrate loose again. If so, will use some loctite here, but it’s a silly oversight on their end.

I ordered a small and medium to see how the fit would be the medium fits my 7 year old daughter very well but the small would not fit anyone but a toddler fyi. The medium is more of a youth small for anyone looking for children’s helmets order a size up minimum.

We purchased this helmet for our 7 year old and he loves it. We list one of the visor screws and contacted the customer service team. We wanted to buy the replacement hardware and rather than selling it, they insisted they send us the screw for free – not even a fee for shipping! Great product! Excellent service team!

We bought three of these helmets for our kids and two from a more expensive brand for ourselves. We were so unhappy with the fit and the horrible clasps of the other brand that we returned them and bought two of another style for ourselves. Over all we LOVE these helmets. Great value for great quality. Unfortunately, the visor screws have come off all three of our kids’ helmets. Hoping I can get some replacements and put LocTite on to keep them in place.
