This was an absolute lifesaver!!I walk in the CHI pride parade every year with my company & the last couple years have been unbearably hot.Not wanting to risk passing out, I packed it with ice water & it lasted almost until the end of the parade (and I was sharing it with my brother).Even packed with water, ice & some necessities in the pocket it was SO LIGHT.The side of the pocket was amazing too, it was big enough to fit not only my keys, cash/ID, sunglasses & phone but also a fairly clunky portable charger. It also has so many small details I continued finding as I got it packed; a simple loop in the pocket to make keys easier to find, adjustable straps that ACTUALLY ARE adjustable (instead of something you fight with for hours), and lightly padded straps that don’t claw at your flesh.

This would be great for a smaller person. I am 6’2” and 195# and it doesn’t really fit me very well. However, that’s not the fault of the Camelbak.

A music festival I go to banned backpacks this year, but Camelbacks were allowed. I was able to get my medicine bottles, sunglasses, power bank and phone charging cable, and severa other things in the small zipper compartment and there was still a bit of room in the compartment the water bladder goes into. My only complaint was that the 50 ounce bladder had to be refilled several times over a 12 hour day, but I drink a lot of water. No issues with leaks unless I didn’t get the lid on right, and the drinking system works really well. If I could do it over again I’d have probably bought the 70 ounce version but this one worked well and was comfortable for all day wear. It would be perfect for half marathons or shorter bike rides.

The chest strap is definitely in a awkward spot mine is so high up it was almost choking me and if I lowered the pack all together it would end up sitting low on my back. I used this for a Spartan trail race and it gets the job done with having water. The other thing I noticed was the water hose part was obnoxiously flopping past the clip the fastens it down. When running it did also flop around my back when it was full. I’d keep using it until I find a better one though! The pocket space in the front was way bigger than I expected

Bought this for mountain biking – needed a little extra water for longer days on the trails. I didn’t feel like spending $100+ as I’m just a recreational biker, so this fit my budget pretty well. It works as advertised, but beware that the water pouch sweats right through the bag. By the time we got to the trails, this bag had a huge puddle of water under it in my trunk. It also won’t keep your water very cold, so keep that in mind during your warm weather rides. If I could do it over again, I’d probably spring for something a little nicer just to ensure it doesn’t leak all over my trunk or back.

I bought these for some scenario paintball games and they work great. The on/off valve is a must as they can leak when left overnight. No strange flavors from the bags, easy to take out and clean, very lightweight. They also have a loop on the shoulders for mics or other items you might want to attach to your pack. Well worth the money. I would definitely buy again.

I bought this for mountain biking. I’m glad I bought it, as I have used it already every day since then. Easy to disassemble and clean, and it stays put. I actually like it so much, I bought a second one for my son.

Worthy of a good review
