I’ve had this backpack for about two months and I take it for hikes about 3 times a week. I usually have around 12 lb in it and so far all the zippers and seams are holding up. I like the closure of the bladder, it is easy to fill up, but the bladder is quite stinky (plastic) and after washing it several times and airing it, I decided not to use it. I carry water bottles instead, so the side pockets (which are nice size) are useful.I don’t like that this backpack has only one large compartment, with a pocket for the bladder.I am a 5’6″ woman, and the size is perfect for my frame.

I’m a male of average size, told I’m on the thinner side. This fit me well and was comfortable. The two straps held it in place while hiking. The water bladder did have a slight plastic taste but no more than any other plastic container. It didn’t leak and I had water when I needed it so no real complaints.Plenty of space for a day of hiking and made a good personal carry-on for the plane.

This was the first time using a hydro pac. It was easy to set up, convenient to drink out of., I liked the various sizes pockets for cargo. The front pockets are perfect for stashing my folded poles. I don’t know that it will hold the gear needed for PNW winter (wet) dayhikes. But it worked great for a dry day in the Cascades

I bought this bag for hiking in Albuquerque New Mexico. We did roughly 34 miles of hiking over 5 days, we went to the balloon fiesta at the beginning of October. I was able to carry my water and everything know to man kind giggle. Beef jerky, candy, cereal bars, glucose gels, minor first aid stuff. I hooked my camera bag and my coosie to it. A change of clothes, usually shorts as it is a “wait 30 mins and the weather would change”. It was very comfortable. I was highly impressed.

This is by far the best camel/back pack for traveling and hiking.

Couldn’t connect the tube to the bladder, even the second replacement one they sent, the same problem. I had many other people try, just would not connect. I had to buy a separate bladder before my trip. I love the pack, just the connector problem.

I went hiking in a couple national parks in Utah recently and decided to buy this pack because the one I had before was just too small and couldn’t fit anything but a 1L water bladder.I can’t tell you how many times I said “I LOVE THIS BACKPACK!” while on my trip.It has so many convenient pockets, a big enough space to put food and the waist straps are a game changer.I would totally recommend this for anyone hiking on a day trip! Super worth it!
