I bought a few different lightweight packs to compare and settled on this one… it worked perfectly! I purchased for a three-week hiking trip out west. The water supply size was perfect for hiking to about 8 miles with elevation change. I was able to keep a small bottle of sunscreen, long-sleeve sun shirt and snack without an issue, as well as my iPhone Mini and a chapstick in the small pocket. I also wore this while biking the Grand Canyon rim without any issues. Adjustable straps are nice (even my 6’3”, 280lb husband wore one time and was astonished how light it was compared to his older pack). If you’re debating on buying, just do it.Side note: The “red” color is really more of a raspberry pinkish as you can see in the photo. It was EXACTLY what I thought it would be!

This pouch is used during wing foilingWeakness:- Need to ‘lock the two zipper together or they re-open with water getting in. Easily solved with a very small carabiner.Strenghts:- holes at bottom of pouch so the water can evacuate- no extra pockets so no water accumulation when falling in water and getting back on the board-2 attaches: chest and waist. Insure staying in place. Ideal

This backpack dos great for long runs. I’ve used it multiple times. Only issue I have is that the metal grommets at the bottom of the bladder pocket rust from the bladder sweating. I guess this is why the more expensive packs have no metal at all. For what it cost, though, it’s been a lifesaver for marathon training.

These fit from an 8 yr old to an adult. Held plenty of water for 3 hour long hikes. Easy to clean, store and pack. Buy a different color for each family member so you know who’s is who’s. Highly recommend.
