   With all the various metals and alloys of metals in engine and cooling system components in modern vehicles we can no longer just grab a gallon of Prestone yellow. And that is the case for for full system flush and even more so for “topping off.” In fact topping off or mixing say “HOAT” and “OAT” or different HOATs or OATs can gum up the coolant and damage your cooling systemIndeed FCA, like virtually all makers, has had different formulations and has switched around formulations within the same model of vehicle depending on year. It is also difficult to judge by color alone since used coolent can change color over its life.For that reason you want to make 200% sure that you know your original coolant, best through your vehicle owners manual (now thankfully online searchable pdfs), and even double check with user forums for your vehicle.This 68163849AB is exactly what was used at factory for my 2017 JK Jeep and premixed at 50/50 just like factory. So I have a high confidence of not screwing things up.If you are wondering what “embittered” means in the product description, this means it has a small amount of additive that makes it unattractive to wildlife and domestic animals, since non-embittered coolant is attractive and also highly poisonous to animals.

   As others have mentioned what’s in the photo and what you get is different. What my owners manual says and what I got match so I’m good with it. I ordered it on a whim hoping they’d send the “wrong” thing like other reviewers said. I needed a half gallon or so to top off my ’18 Ram 1500 with the 5.7 Hemi’s overflow reservoir.

   It’s antifreeze. Nothing exciting. If your Chrysler, Jeep, Ram calls for antifreeze, you gotta use this. This is not the area to cheap out. Arrived intact and not leaking. Well packed.

   The picture on the Amazon listing says MS-12106, which is what the label on top of the bottle in our 2020 Grand Cherokee 3.6 says, but the label on the actual bottle received says MS.90032. In the owners manual, it states coolant meeting MS.90032, so this will work. Just what I needed for a quick top off in our Jeep.

   This was extremely hard to find mainly because I didn’t know the coolant changer color as it’s being ram thru the engine…..Yeah and I work on cars ????. Guess I clearly didn’t learn anything…Anyways I’ve been using it in my 2018 scat pack challenge and so far smooth sailing. Yes I did so much research, read so many forums. All in all I recommend ????.
