I bought this to clean the inside of the control knobs that were scratchy on some old stereo equipment. After much research I noticed that several of the top rated cleaners were very pricy so I opted for a name I knew that was more affordable and I’m glad I did. This did the trick! The long spay nozzel made it easy to get into the area and after several sprays the static noise is gone. I suggest someone who is not familur with the process look up some how to videos on You Tube but, this lubricates just as well as the fancier higher priced ones with no draw backs!

This can be used just about anywhere for electronic applications. It can also be used to clean car battery terminals, ONCE the battery acid/corrosion has been complete neutralized. Then the WD-40 Contract Cleaner can be used to remove the “funky” build-up on the terminals.I use baking soda and a little water to make a paste to neutralize battery acid. Just sprinkle a little on the battery terminals and gently apply water. You will see the battery acid (corrosion) start to foam. Once the foaming action has ceased, the battery acid is neutralized. It may require a light second application. If the second light application does not generate any foaming, you know the battery acid has been completely neutralized.CAUTION: Do not allow any of the baking soda solution to get near the battery cell refill openings. If any of the solution enters the the refill openings, most likely you will have killed your vehicle’s battery.TIP: Prevent battery terminal corrosion by simply applying a spray coating of battery terminal protectant. It’s a light red oil film that prevents battery terminal corrosion from forming.

Realized after purchase that this will have a lot of usefulness to me, but the reason I got it originally was to clean and restore function in the potentiometers in my gaming controllers. It works great, evaporates without leaving behind residue. This $8 and change purchase saved me $60 plus for a new controller. Instant fan, but as stated earlier, I have realized other areas of usefulness. Will gladly purchase it again.

I bought this product because of a video I saw on YouTube that recommended it. The person said it would help fix my very strange stick drift situation, and since coincidentally they had the same exact issue, I felt comfortable trying this out. It worked great for fixing the stick drift on the Oculus Quest 2 controller which is quite sensitive compared to other controllers. Good product????

I started having issues with my Alienware gaming mouse and the scroll wheel. I was unable to use it as it would scroll wildly around when ever I tried to use it, making browsing the web or playing games like Fortnite impossible. Ripped it apart and used this spray on the little actuator thing used for scrolling (not sure the official name of the part), and it is like new again. Lifesaver!

If you own a 3300 Ctek battery charger this does a great job cleaning up the mode switch. The mode switch on this otherwise great charger typically stops working. The WD-40 did a great job cleaning the mode switch and didn’t damage the circuit board. Evaporates quickly for easy clean up.

Worked perfectly for what I wanted it for, volume control knobs building up grime/dirt after years of use. Now they work perfectly.
