   I received the product but one of the 8 chains missed one of the orange plastic protection cover. I have already torn the box so I don’t want to ship it back. Contacted the seller and got prompt warm response. Received a new package within the next couple days!They have the top notch customer service and make the shopping with them such a breeze.Regarding the product itself. it is very solid and easy to install and uninstall. I used to have another brand snow chains which requires positioning the chain and backing the car a bit during the installation, which was not easy to do in snow. This chain makes the installation much easier imo. Look forward to use it in my upcoming skiing trips.

   I grew up in snow country but haven’t lived where I even needed snow tires for over 30 years so I’m out of practice and I really hated putting on tire chains even when I was younger. We now live where tire chains can be essential with little notice. I haven’t used them but practiced putting them on and it was so easy. The strap hook makes it easy to pull the strap through the wheel openings for the chains on top of the wheel where the spacing in the wheel well makes it impossible to reach around to the back of the tire to push the strap through. Slide the strap into the ratchet and a few cranks, they’re solid. The rotor cover on my car gives me very little room for anything wrapped around the wheel. The only problem I had was that cover interfered if I twisted the strap. When I corrected that so the strap was flat against the inside of the rim (like it’s supposed to be), no problem. They fit tightly with no metal against my custom rims where traditional chains would seriously chew up the finish on the rims. They don’t shift and flop around like traditional chains, and since they go through the slots in the rims, they don’t move on the tire. As long as you know how to use a rachet strap, getting them off was easy as well. I hate putting on tire chains and hope I never have to use these, but it’s great relief to know it’ll be so much easier if I ever have that need.

   These are the easiest snow chains I have ever used. Easy on. Easy off. Easy peasy. Easy like Sunday morning. They seem to be very heavy duty and look boss. Ratcheting system is so simple but works really well. I hope I will never need them but if I do I hope it’s not too cold outside but if it is I hope my fingers stay warm but if they don’t I hope I don’t get frostbite but if I do I hope I don’t lose any fingers but if I do I hope it’s not my dedo de corazon. Let it snow!

   I buy snow chains with the expectation to never use them. I usually don’t ever open the packaging and throw them in the trunk. But I wanted to check these out so I opened up the bag and put a couple on. I ended up purchasing 2 vehicles this year and got these because I found that they would work with both, even though they are very much different sizes.My biggest concern was that the strap would interfere with the brake calipers. And also the strap ratchet would hit the bumper cover and panel liner. I threw on a couple on both of our vehicles and everything seems like it will work fine.Installation is very easy. Using the hook to pull the strap though worked flawlessly. Just thread it through the ratchet and tighten. Anyone familiar with tie downs can have all 8 installed on both tires in less than 5 minutes.Everything seems well constructed and should be good for a few uses.

   These came in an attractive bag with a few aids for installation, including gloves, an installation guide and a hook to help get them through the wheel. The design looks good and installation was pretty easy. It might take a little longer to install them than traditional chain sets, but they tighten against the tire very well and there is an elastic four-way cord that should keep them in place. Overall, a good design. I am looking forward to trying them when road conditions become too slippery for snow tires.

   Searching for the right chains on Amazon was easy and I couldn’t be happier with the ones I chose. The PLTMIV 8 Pack of Snow Chains were perfect for my wheels. I needed 205-55-R16 and they fit exactly as expected. I have not used them in the snow yet, but I did pre-fit them to be sure they were sized properly and fit my tires. They appear to be very durable, were easy to install and to remove. And, they came in a very nice reusable carrying bag/tote.

   Chain nicely packaged with a carry case, and gloves! That was a nice surprise. It definitely took my husband and friend about 30 minutes to put them on, but that was the first time we’ve ever used snow chains. It does only come with enough for two wheels, not all four, but luckily, I knew that, and that was all that was necessary. we only used them for about 6 miles, but I do feel like they worked well/served their purpose. Definitely great for the price! I would suggest these to a friend.

   Bought the chains for my daughter as she was heading out to Colorado for the winter season. Seemed like good quality, easy on/easy off, and came with bag to keep all equipment together. Chains seemed like good quality and should last a while as long as they are used as intended.
