Would have given it 5 stars for appearing to be decent quality at a low price as far as I can tell out of the box. Took one star off because it was folded into a 1′ square in the packaging. I hope it will lay flatter in time.

This mat really does absorb the oil leaks, however it’s so lightweight that even a slight wind will move it around potentially becoming lost on the street. We have to put concrete blocks to hold it and even like that the edges move around so we wind it all rolled up different ways. I would look for other mats that are a little heavier to stay on the ground.

Works like a charm to keep oil and gear lube from staining garage concrete.Tough enough to accidentally drive over without tearing, light enough to movewhen needed. Very nice!

I have used this under a 2014 Buick Enclave, which retains a lot of heat in the engine compartment as the SUV cools down. My Buick is stored in a garage and when the door is down the engine is still hot 30 minutes later and the hood is still warm to the touch 2-3 hours later. After several months of use, the rubber-like surface under the mat is separating from the mat and sticking to the concrete. It’s not a gooey mess, but more like a slightly sticky, viscous rubber cement.

Used to catch a small oil pan drip that was to expensive to repair.
