I bought this coolant for a system clean/flush on my 2011 Corvette GS. After a rather physically challenging clean and flush of the system, this stuff went back in just like the factory stuff. Same color and service rating, including factory recommendation. After a year; no problems at all. Engine runs as designed & stays cool. On these cars, not keeping the cooling system clean or using coolant not approved can seriously hurt it. I once considered buying a corvette until I heard the horror story of how the coolant got into the transmission because a shop drained and refilled the radiator with a cheap substitute coolant. The acid ate the aluminum in the radiator cooler!

What I dislike is what I dislike about these type containers. They don’t want spillage, yet they don’t have a spout that prevents spillage. So what I did was get a pitcher and pour from this bottle into the pitcher and then into the coolant holder. Still went a bit over the MAX mark. Anyway, one thing to know is this precise brand 50/50 Phosphate Free is specified for BMW make autos, after the BMW brand itself.

Only purchase this at Amazon never from a retail auto parts store because they rip you off. This is the real deal and by all means use 50/50 or mix 50/50 with distilled water. I’m a firm believer in the 50/50 because water has a better property to remove heat then glycol does. I was surprised when I read that but it makes sense, 50/50 is the right way to go. If you live in Alaska, now you have a different situation but it’s not far from 50/50

This is super high quality coolant, but it does not match the color of the factory fluid in my vehicle. This fluid is almost clear. This obviously is no issue if you are not plagued with OCD and only care about having a high quality fluid, this fits the bill.
